Join Freyssinet Australia as a Site Supervisor in Our Remedial/Repair Division!
Freyssinet Australia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Remedial/Repair Division based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors on-site to ensure zero harm, zero defects, and on-time delivery. This role includes supervisory accountabilities for both team and subcontractor performance, contributing to the success of projects nationwide.
About the Role: As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of various remedial projects across QLD. Your primary focus will be on concrete works, remediation, and FRP, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. You'll also bring your expertise to manage access and temporary works subcontractors, demonstrating flexibility to work on projects QLD-wide.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead by example, fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring the consistent adoption of safe work procedures.
Develop and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) plans and work procedures in collaboration with the Project Engineer.
Apply your construction experience to enhance methods, adopting efficient and safe approaches to get the job done.
Supervise and manage on-site activities, supporting the site team in problem-solving and managing day-to-day operational risks.
Train and develop site teams, ensuring they have the right skills, attitude, and support to succeed.
Oversee team performance to meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Monitor site productivity and report to the Project Engineer, promptly identifying and addressing variations and delays.
Conduct safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections, and manage safety incidents in conjunction with the Project Engineer.

Qualifications / Experience:

At least 5 years of supervisory experience within the construction industry, particularly in concrete works, steel repair, structural remediation, cathodic protection and facade upgrades.
High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to be a hands-on supervisor and work on the tools as needed.
Strong understanding of safety guidelines and regulations as they relate to construction projects.
Experience with safety documentation preparation and implementation.
Clean full driver's license.
EWP Ticket, high-risk license, and forklift license are advantageous.
