Job Opportunity: Civil Project Engineers We have upcoming requirements for Civil Project Engineers for the Brisbane & greater QLD region interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignment for a period of approximately 1 - 2 years with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects. This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer (or Site Engineer with exposure to Quality Systems) to step up into a PE role, with up to 7 years road construction and/or NDRRA delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities: Providing assistance with, coordinating and supervising technical aspects of Projects. Conducting quality assurance, project administration, and reporting. Managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Demonstrating computer literacy in established industry programs. Applying well-developed organising and problem-solving skills. Maintaining a high attention to detail. Committing to HSE & QA Policies and procedures. Experience Required: Experience in the following areas is necessary:
Exposure & understanding of TMR policies, standards & specifications. Complex geotechnical issues related to terrain. Major rock fill, earthworks, embankments, block walls, pavements & drainage works. Mandatory Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification, which is accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust). A valid driver's licence and own mobile phone. Work Details: The role is proposed to be 5-6 days per week. The roles are Brisbane & QLD based; however, some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on requirements. You must have the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current driver's licence.
