Due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client's Perth-based team has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer. You will be working on a range of large-scale global and local projects for some of their reputable clients.
We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with experience in all aspects of Civil design including Bulk and Detailed Earthworks, Geotech Investigations, Tailings Storage Facilities, and Borrow Pit Investigations.
Key responsibilities of this role include: Providing Civil discipline engineering design support including Water Pipeline, Tailings Storage Facility, Borrow Pits, and Geotechnical Investigation reports. Review and checking of deliverables produced by the ESPs (Concentrator, Tailings, and Village) to ensure the technical integrity of project drawings and documentation such as scope of work, technical specifications, data sheets, and other project baseline documents. Review estimates, schedules, progress reports, and provide input into design and risk reviews. Ensure that ESPs interpret and apply client, national, and international standards to design documentation. Qualifications & Experience: This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, team-oriented individual, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key skills and experience we are looking for include: Understanding project life-cycle requirements to provide robust guidance and solutions. Self-driven, agile, with good time management skills. Able to communicate effectively with management, team members, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships. In-depth understanding of Geotech aspects. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail. Experience in software design tools such as Navisworks, InRoads, and 12D is desirable.
