Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Civil Leading Hand who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Based in Brisbane, you will be part of a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team renowned for its world-class thinking and solutions.
Key responsibilities: Manage the daily activities of a Civil Construction team for ETCS L2 project delivery and coordinate all construction site activities according to project requirements.Complete project documentation in a timely manner.Manage project materials, to ensure no delays to project works.High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as a great eye for detail.Collaborate with the HSE team to deliver site safety requirements.Provide regular progress reports on construction activities.Skills & Experience: 5+ years as a civil supervision or leading hand in a rail and/or civil construction environment.Construction White Card.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Current Class A Driver License (MR License preferred but not essential).Experience in concrete and foundation works.Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.Good planning and organisational skills.Resourceful, resilient, and professional.At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
