About the roleIn light of recent growth and expansion, PARC Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our Applecross head office team. This is a full-time opportunity to work across a variety of infrastructure projects with an immediate start.What you'll doPrepare tender estimate proposals for Civil Construction Projects - inclusive of Bulk Earthworks, Detailed Earthworks, Concrete works, Drainage and various other Civil related estimating.Prepare RFQ's for subcontractor and supplier requests for quotations & complete vetting of all received quotes.Complete quantity take-offs for 2D and 3D scope elements.Analyse tender documentation.Provide high level technical inputs into construction methodologies, programs and estimates.Prepare project handover packs following contract award.Assist work teams to develop improved methods of carrying out works and reducing costs and time delays.Finalise with a qualitative & quantitative assessment for inclusion in the final tender review.What we're looking forDemonstrated history of delivery winning submissions for a range of contract models.5+ years' experience in the civil/construction industry (preferably with some site-based experience).Knowledge of estimating utilising both norms and first principal, including identifying cost options and preparing tenders and proposals.Commercial & risk, planning, project controls and contractual management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.PARC PerksCareer progression paths, learning and professional development opportunities.Remuneration, Reward and Recognition Programs.Support for you and your family through our Employee Assistant Program (EAP).The chance to join a growing company with a values driven culture where you can really make an impact.Paid day off on your birthday.Onsite parking.A bit about usPARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Infrastructure projects.
