Due to current and upcoming projects and business growth, they now have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator / Contracts Administrator to join their team.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator / Contracts Administrator. This dynamic role involves a blend of estimating project costs and managing contracts, providing key support in ensuring the successful execution of projects.Duties and responsibilities:EstimationPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ongoing tenders.Analyse project drawings, specifications, and requirements to estimate labour, material, and equipment costs.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and budgets.Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.Monitor and update estimates as project scope and specifications change.Contracts AdministrationReview, manage, and administer contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.Coordinate changes, amendments, and variations to contracts, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.Serve as the main point of contact for all contract-related inquiries.Track project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion.Prepare and submit contract documents for review and approval.Project SupportAssist Project Managers in coordinating resources and keeping projects within budget and on schedule.Provide accurate, timely reports on project financial status.Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and bidding processes.Maintain all relevant documentation, including legal and financial records.What you need to succeed:5+ years' experience in estimation and contracts administration, preferably within the civil construction industry.Formal qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field (highly desirable).Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, and procurement processes.Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What's on offer?Competitive salary between $100k - $130k + Super (depending on experience).Enjoy 5 weeks annual leave per year.Monday - Friday FT position, 40 hours per week.Berrimah NT location with onsite parking.Professional development opportunities.A supportive and dynamic team environment.Career progression for the right candidate.If you believe that you would be a perfect fit for this position, we want to hear from you.To apply for this position please select the Apply Now button to forward your resume.
