Civil Construction Traineeship – Road Surfaces Overtime and additional allowances available Work outdoors with a diverse and dynamic team Undertake a Certificate III in Civil Construction Our Company Skillinvest has an opportunity for a committed and motivated candidate to undertake a full time Civil Construction Traineeship in Road Construction, Maintenance and Surfacing with the Department of Transport in Bendigo.
Our trainee will receive ongoing mentoring whilst learning on-the-job and undertaking a 'Certificate III in Civil Construction'.
Duties Opportunity to work in multiple work groups with a variety of people Full range of road maintenance duties: Loading and unloading equipment Handling/operating hand tools and mobile equipment Traffic controller duties Operate and maintain major plant and equipment Work in road surfacing Skills and Experience Willingness to undertake a three-year traineeship A current Victorian driver's licence Medium/Heavy Rigid licence (or must work towards obtaining) Ability to undertake all inherent requirements of the position (detailed above) Mandatory pre-employment testing, including medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, driver history checks and reference checks.
