About the role Reporting into the Manager Assets, the Coordinator Asset Management will develop, implement, and maintain an effective asset management framework supported by best practice strategies, plans, processes, and systems to improve asset management competency across the City.
In addition, other core duties include:
Provide Leadership and direction to the Asset Management team ensuring the application of their technical expertise achieves quality service delivery outcomes; Coordinate preparation and submission of grant applications including concept designs, cost estimates, condition assessments, geotechnical investigations, and other required studies to ensure maximum funding opportunities for the City; Update, and improve Asset Management Plans as required to comply with corporate planning and strategic direction; Coordinate consultant engagement and provide timely and professional technical advice to key stakeholders for all asset management related matters; Coordinate the development and management of 10-Year Capital Works plans for all asset classes including footpaths, roads, carparks, drainage, buildings, and parks infrastructure. About the successful candidate To be considered for the role, you will have a tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical services discipline and/or significant prior experience in a project management/assets management senior or leadership role.
The successful applicant will also have:
Several years' demonstrated experience providing high level asset management related technical advice; Advanced people management skills; Experience in managing diverse infrastructure assets and driving the application of asset management frameworks; Experience in business planning, resource planning and effective budget management. What we offer A remuneration package starting from $111,392 to $129,437 per annum plus superannuation is on offer, dependent on skills and experience.
