Salary: $107,117 - $113,388 plus Super
Hours: 36 hours per week, 9-day fortnight

About the team: The City Laws team provides education and enforcement services across a diverse range of Local and State Laws to protect the safety and amenity for the City's residents and visitors.
About your new role: Do you have a passion for leading a team and promoting a safe working environment? The City Laws team is seeking a self-motivated, problem solver who possesses excellent customer service skills.
Key Deliverables include:
Lead, assist and guide a team of City Laws Compliance Officers to deliver local laws services. Review infringements, reports, and ensure critical workplace health and safety protocols are followed, reported and actioned as necessary. Promote and champion workplace safety and high performing behaviours. Produce written reports and submissions with recommendations and prepare briefs of evidence as required. Be responsive to workplace changes and help facilitate seamless transition that minimises impact to internal and external clients. We're looking for people who have:
A passion for leading teams and promoting a safe working environment. Demonstrated adaptability to new technologies and services, resilience under pressure, and the ability to apply independent, logical thought to deliver appropriate outcomes. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the areas of consultation, negotiation, conflict management, and assertiveness. Knowledge of or the ability to gain an understanding of relevant legislation, policies and guidelines. Ability to quickly identify work-related issues, challenges or difficulties, evaluate the situation, and recommend solutions that deliver outcomes. Holds a Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or has the equivalent knowledge. Holds a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or has the equivalent knowledge. Holds a Diploma in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or has the equivalent knowledge. Holds a current driver's licence class "C" unrestricted.
