We are excited to be recruiting for a CIO on behalf of a key strategic sporting partner.
Our partner is actively growing their internal resources and capabilities and the new CIO will be a significant piece of the puzzle.
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the strategic leadership of our IT and digital operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading technology transformations,, with a deep understanding of how technology can drive business growth and efficiency. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and business goals.
Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation initiatives across the organisation, driving innovation and ensuring the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.
IT Governance & Security: Oversee the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect the company's data and systems.
Technology & Infrastructure Management: Manage the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and capable of supporting our growing business needs.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with external technology partners and vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and delivering value for money. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Data Strategy: Develop and implement a data management strategy that maximises the value of data as a strategic asset, driving insights and supporting decision-making processes.
Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the business. Act as a thought leader, championing innovation and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

This is a new role and therefore there is a high level of flexibility to sculpt the role around a person's experiences, aspirations and working requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $300,000.00 per year
