Centre Overview: Journey Early Learning Ballarat East is more than just a childcare center—it's a vibrant launchpad for children aged six weeks to six years to explore a world of learning, growth, and opportunity.

What's the Role?
As our Educational Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping positive outcomes for children and families.
Your leadership will inspire, motivate, and enhance the practice and pedagogy of our educators through inquiry, reflection, and continuous professional development.
You'll be instrumental in embedding our values into everyday practice and supporting a culture of excellence.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: Bringing Journey's values—connection, communication, and consideration—to life in daily practice.
Upholding Journey's child-safe policies and code of conduct.
Ensuring team members understand and adhere to Journey Standards.
Developing and monitoring individual and group coaching plans.
Overseeing and approving centre Storypark posts.
Contributing to the development of the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Role modeling and reflecting on agreed practices.
Engaging with families and the community.
Supporting and conducting professional conversations.
Being an active member of the Centre Leadership Team.
Leading and participating in Lead Educator meetings.
Who Are You?
You are an experienced leader in Early Childhood Education and Care, with a deep understanding of compliance, team leadership, and a track record of exemplary practice.
Key Skills and Requirements: ACECQA Approved Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor's Degree (Early Education) or working towards.
Current Working with Children Check.
Commitment to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all children and families.
Knowledge of the ECA Code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Understanding of appropriate behaviors while engaging with children.
