Are you aSpeech Pathologist wanting to work with children and families and genuinely help others? Do you want to live and work near the beach in beautiful Busselton? Child Matters | Teen Matters is looking for a dedicated and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our thriving practice. We have incredible clients and a wonderful allied health team. You must have a keen interest in working with children with disabilities, primarily autism, and an interest in learning to work in a neuro-affirming way. Unlike many other providers, we have a physical workplace with collegial support. We have a new therapy gym, a gorgeous newly renovated home style clinic with beautiful gardens and resident chickens.
Child Matters | Teen Matters is a small multidisciplinary service that focuses on children and teens with developmental concerns. We are basedin the beautiful beach-side town of Busselton, Western Australia. We have anestablished reputation for providing excellence in service from dedicated professionals. We provide services to families from the greater South West area and offer additional home and school-based services.
Child Matters | Teen Matters works hard for our clients. We go above and beyond with our care and service to families in an effort to support families and help facilitate real and lasting change. Child Matters | Teen Mattershas a vibrant team anda family friendly practice. We provide clinical psychology, psychology, speech pathology, family supportand occupational therapy services as well as diagnostic services and social groups. You would work alongside our current team and have a variedcaseload. Our team is collaborative and you will learn a great deal from the other disciplines as well as sharing your skills with us.
You will be trained in child/teen team autism assessments.
Experience in autism is preferred. If there is an area of interest or specialty that you would like to provide in the practice this can be negotiated. New graduates are welcome to apply.
We have a shared work vehicle, but applicants must have a roadworthy vehicle and be prepared to travel to see local clients as required.

**** ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS INCLUDED****Essential criteria are: 1. Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) and certified member of Speech Pathology Australia/ AHPRA
2. Experience in or strong interest inautism and similar disabilities
3. Excellent assessment and intervention skills
4. Demonstrated skills in evidence-based interventions
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
7. Working with children card
8. Professional Indemnity Insurance
9. Driving license and roadworthy vehicle.
