To achieve these goals designed for optimal child development, the following core duties are required:Lead and manage the Pre-Montessori Room, ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children aged 1.5-3 years.Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.Maintain a balance between play based & intentional teaching Curriculum and philosophy to guide children through their individual learning journeys.Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, creating a supportive and inclusive community.Oversee daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and Centre policies.Conduct regular observations and assessments to track children's progress and development.Collaborate with other educators and staff to maintain a cohesive and effective team.ABOUT YOU - Position RequirementsThis position is responsible for providing active leadership to educators in the development, implementation and evaluation of a child-focused education and care curriculum, compliance and procedures.
