This job offer is not available in your country.Join Our Team as the Child Care Director at Bush Kids!Are you passionate about nurturing young minds, embracing nature-based education, and making a significant impact on children's lives?Bush Kids invites a dedicated and dynamic Child Care Director to lead our vibrant team at our new Bunbury Centre, continuing our commitment to exceptional early childhood education.About Bush Kids :Situated in the picturesque South West, Bush Kids is a leader in early childhood education, offering a unique nature-inspired environment where children thrive.Our approach prioritizes outdoor play, a connection to nature, and a supportive community that fosters growth and exploration.Since 2012, we have consistently exceeded National Quality Standards, earning recognition for our excellence and innovative practices.Position Overview :As the Child Care Director, you will oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the centre, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for children in compliance with state regulations and organisational standards.Key Responsibilities :Leadership & Management :Lead and inspire a dedicated team of early childhood professionals.Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development for all staff.Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with National Quality Standards (NQS).Program Development :Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of child-centred educational programs.Integrate the Bush Kids philosophy into every aspect of the service.Health, Safety & Compliance :Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and child protection regulations.Regularly review and update emergency procedures, including evacuation, first aid, and medical response plans.Family & Community Engagement :Build and nurture strong, respectful relationships with families and the local community.Provide resources and guidance to families on child development and parenting.Coordinate community events and family activities to encourage engagement and collaboration.Administrative Duties :Effectively manage budgets, staffing, enrolment, and resource allocation.Maintain comprehensive records of attendance, health, and child development progress.Ensure all staff certifications and training are up-to-date and well-documented.Quality Improvement :Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, including self-assessments and accreditation processes.Implement feedback from families, staff, and regulatory bodies to enhance service delivery.Qualifications :Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).Current Working with Children's Check and Police Clearance.Demonstrated leadership experience in childcare or early education settings.In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Passion for outdoor play, child-centred learning, and nature-based education.Core Skills :Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.Proven capacity to foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.Why Choose Bush Kids?Lead a high-quality centre renowned for its excellence and innovation.Be part of a supportive community with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Enjoy working in a beautiful, nature-inspired setting in Bunbury.Receive a competitive salary and access to professional development opportunities.If you are ready to lead with passion and make a difference in early childhood education, apply now to become part of the Bush Kids family!
