Child And Maternal Health Clinical Lead - Cairns

Community Based Nursing position in Far North Queensland
Curis Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading Aboriginal Health Service in Cairns to find a dedicated Child and Maternal Health Clinical Lead.

This is a permanent role and you will be working closely with the Operations Manager of Outreach Services to oversee the programs and services delivered by the Maternal and Child Health team.

Package: Total Package: $171,676 per annum $25,000 of the package is tax-free Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to manage the Maternal and Child Health team. Supervise, guide, and support team members, ensuring effective program delivery. Plan, monitor, and evaluate health services and programs. Coordinate and deliver holistic, culturally appropriate, and integrated maternal and child health services. Location and Accommodation:
You will be based in beautiful Cairns and accommodation is provided during community workdays. You will be required to arrange your own accommodation when you are based in Cairns. This is well suited to someone already living in Cairns or surrounds or willing to relocate there for a permanent opportunity.

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery with current dual registration with AHPRA Postgraduate qualification in Child Health Queensland Immunisation Endorsement Advanced Life Support or Basic Life Support certification Current Queensland Driver's Licence AFP National Police Check Minimum of four (4) years post-qualification experience in Midwifery and/or Child Health Leadership experience in coordinating maternal and child health teams, preferably within primary healthcare settings Experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating health programs and services Ability to supervise teams and provide guidance and support Strong leadership skills to support a team of health professionals Knowledge and ability to deliver culturally appropriate maternal and child health services Additional Requirements:
You must be able to provide an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander referee or a written reference from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person attesting to the applicant's background, knowledge, and skills.
