About the Role: Tresillian is currently recruiting for a dynamic new Chief Operating Officer (COO) role. The COO is responsible for the corporate management; quality and safety; information technology; and financial services for the organisation. The COO is a key member of the Executive team accountable for organisation wide portfolios in several different states and territories.
Key Success Factors for the Role: · Maintain a robust governance and risk framework and infrastructure oversight.
· Achieve accreditation status against the ACHS accreditation National Standards; and, as a minimum, achieve 'Meeting National Quality Standards' as per the National Quality Framework and Standards for the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector.
· Development of a digital strategy to improve efficiency of information management and communications across Tresillian.

About Us: The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian , was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW). Tresillian is now the largest early child and family health and parenting service in Australia, operating from four sites in metropolitan Sydney and numerous NSW regional and rural sites supporting service provision to families across NSW, the ACT and in Tasmania from mid-2025.
Tresillian is a Certified Child Safe Leader and is dedicated to creating a workplace environment where children's rights are recognised and championed.
Tresillian provides local and state-wide services including health and parenting assessments; parenting advice; education; and support to families via a range of service delivery models including centre based day programs, home visiting, telehealth, helpline, internet, virtual residential and face to face residential services. Selection Criteria: Applicants must address the Selection Criteria : 1) Tertiary Qualifications in health administration, business administration or a related discipline. 2) Extensive experience in a leadership role of a complex organisation or department.
3) Understanding of Health Service funding models and a capacity to identify and analyse financial needs within the organisation and to recommend and evaluate innovative organisational strategies in response to those needs.
4) Demonstrated ability to manage information management and technology, infrastructure and support services associated with complex health organisations.
5) Understanding of accreditation models for health services including the early childhood education National Quality Framework.
6) Demonstrated high level analytical and conceptual abilities, communication and organisation skills and a commitment to quality improvement.
7) Experience in organisation development, change management and team building.
8) Advanced computer literacy being competent at Word, PowerPoint and Excel Microsoft packages and applications.
9) Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C.
