About our Client: Alpha One Coaching College was founded in 2015 with a mission to deliver exceptional learning experiences for students through small group classes, dedicated tutors, one-on-one feedback sessions and regularly updated materials.
Frustrated with the education quality at various OC & Selective coaching colleges, founder Christopher Chen gathered a team of experienced tutors and designed courses that focused on teaching the best methods to tackle questions in the OC & Selective Test.
Since then, Alpha One has expanded to early high school preparation, brought courses online and expanded to five locations - Bella Vista, North Parramatta, Burwood, Epping and Tallawong. We are now home to a large team of experienced and dedicated tutors from NSW's top selective schools as well as an education consultant who ensures that we use the best teaching methods.
Although we have grown so much over the past 9 years, Alpha One's mission is still the same. We aim to give our students the best quality education - because each child's learning experience comes first.
How you will spend your time: Due to continued growth, the CEO of the business is now looking for someone to assist with the day-to-day operations and optimising operational rhythms, processes and systems in support of the next growth chapter.
The successful person needs to be a brilliant operational executor, who knows the things to prioritise when scaling and also has a natural talent for inspiring people and taking them along the journey.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is accountable for executing the strategic plan of the business and guiding operations to deliver profitable growth. We are seeking a proven leader who has a track record of driving performance and scaling growth in similar businesses while maintaining high quality service and experiences for customers and team.
As the COO, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the organisation as well as ensuring financial diligence overseeing all aspects of Finance and Operations.
