This key Senior Management role comes with equal responsibility, overseeing all operations of our business, ensuring the efficient and compliant running of activities. The COO will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, compliance, safety, and leadership to all facets of the business. This Senior management position is essential for maintaining our high standards across the business and taking our company to the next level.What the Role Entails:Oversee and coordinate the operations of each division in the business, ensuring the efficient and streamlined workflow across the business.Lead cross-functional collaboration between departments to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth.Mentor and develop senior staff and division managers, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.Identify and implement growth opportunities to strengthen the company and operational capacity.Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, upholding safety standards and mitigating operational risks.About You:Proven experience in a senior management/executive role, preferably in the transport and logistics industry.Strong emphasis on safety and compliance; you have a proven record of being proactive with identifying and managing risks.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.Excellent understanding of all facets of a diverse transport/logistics company including staff management, compliance, and safety standards.Innovative in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
