As we launch new products and scale our operations, we are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with expertise in omni-channel, eCommerce, and large retail operations to help drive our growth.
Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Omni-Channel, eCommerce & Large Retail Expert
Job Description: As the COO of Salty Captain, you will be a critical leader in our organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing our global operations. You will work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategies that enhance our omni-channel presence, streamline our eCommerce operations, and manage large retail partnerships. Your role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and supporting our ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all business units, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service.
Develop and execute comprehensive omni-channel strategies to enhance our global market presence and drive sales growth.
Oversee eCommerce operations to ensure seamless customer experiences and optimize online sales performance.
Manage relationships with large retail partners, ensuring effective collaboration and maximizing sales opportunities.
Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align operational strategies with business goals.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to support growth initiatives.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture within the organization.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role, with a strong background in omni-channel, eCommerce, and large retail operations.
Extensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and DTC sales strategies.
Exceptional operational and strategic planning skills.
Experience managing supply chain, logistics, and customer service operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
