Certain aspects of this role will be COO-like for the right candidate, and the role can grow.What you'll do:Aid the CEO in the daily workflows of all aspects of the businesses, focused on making time, information, and decision-making processes more effective.Manage to-dos, email management, scheduling & contact management while working with relevant stakeholders.Help execute priorities through strategy and sharp execution.Engage across all functions and projects within the company, keeping the CEO up to date on all happenings.Conduct research and analysis.Support investor relations.Improve organizational operations, processes, and decision-making.Assist portfolio companies in their development and problem areas.Ensure reviews of financial reporting.Lead special projects & strategic initiatives and drive their successful outcomes.Connect the dots - unearth new opportunities, relationships, and partnerships to add value.Hold the Principal accountable for his goals, acting as a trusted strategic partner in executing them.Who you are:Organized, detail-oriented, and smart generalist who can keep trains running on time & leaves no stone unturned.Ability to work in the office Monday to Friday in Darlinghurst, Sydney NSW.Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks at once - zoom out for high-level strategic thinking, then zoom back in to prioritize and execute in detail.Proactive and able to handle ambiguity.Low maintenance personality.Understanding of the startup grind (our portfolio companies) and ability to work autonomously.Company operational experience.Rigorous analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative).Compensation will be commensurate with experience.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Chief of Staff?Have you completed a qualification in operations management?Have you completed a qualification in management?
