The Diocese covers 103,680 square kilometres, comprises of Three Traditional Nations: the Wiradjuri, Gamilaraay/Gomeroi, and Wailwan nations and boasts the beauty of the central west and orana regions of NSW. Your new role As a pivotal member of our senior management team, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will report directly to the Executive Director of Schools. This esteemed role is not only about overseeing the organisation's technology initiatives but also about harnessing the power of technology to propel them forward, delivering a strategic advantage that aligns with their core values and objectives.

Leadership: Exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department and across the organisation. People Management: Lead a team of IT professionals with a focus on fostering talent, encouraging professional development, and maintaining high engagement levels. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technological risks, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols are in place. Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new systems and tools that can provide competitive advantage. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading and strategically guiding a diverse IT team to achieve key objectives. The successful candidate should possess robust leadership capabilities, coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. A track record of demonstrated leadership in similar roles would be highly advantageous. We're looking for a visionary who can navigate the complexities of modern IT landscapes while keeping a firm eye on our strategic goals.
