Our client Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) is privately held and provides institutional investors with access to Australian infrastructure projects through tailored portfolios and co-mingled funds, including infrastructure for the agricultural sector. RLX has developed regionally significant modern livestock facilities for its' clients within strategic locations, chosen for stock numbers, best practice animal welfare outcomes, transport efficiency and long-term sustainability. Growing smartly, they now have 10 sites across Australia located in key strategic locations.

RLX is a collaborative open business with a 'can-do' attitude that empowers staff. Maintaining its focus on culture, they offer a positive, honest, and engaging work environment. RLX now seek a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial activities of the company.

The Position
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer is an integral member of the RLX leadership team, playing a strategic and collaborative role to promote and espouse company values and ethics while leading all accounting functions and compliance. Working closely with the CEO and Board, you will initiate strategies to improve business performance, ensure compliance, accounting efficiencies, and maximise ROI and cashflow.

Always accountable for financial compliance but working strategically, ultimately you will assist the business make well informed decisions to improve profitability for the long term.

The Person
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following key skills and experience:
Proven experience working closely with a CEO on strategy, business performance profitabilityHistory of analysing financial data and providing insights to inform strategic decisionsExceptional accounting experience with a deep knowledge of Australian Accounting StandardsRelevant tertiary qualifications in finance including CA or CPA (essential)Company secretarial experience essentialExperience working in a dynamic and growing businessAn effective people leader able to positively develop and contribute to company cultureA willingness to be hands on when requiredA connection or exposure to agriculture is importantA unique, exciting, and challenging opportunity based in their Docklands office, and an opportunity to be highly connected to the business at all levels.
