About the business- Agricultural Sector – Administration/Sales/marketing Support Energreen Nutrition is a 100% owned Australian company looking for a dynamic CFO to head up the companies regenerative farming and renewable energy activities that focuses on being a innovative leader in the transition from a fossil fuel economy to a renewable energy economy.

The companies regenerative farming activities are tasked with reducing harmful chemicals from our farm and food production systems.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting:
o Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Ensure timely, accurate reporting of financial performance to management.
o Prepare consolidated financial reports for the entire business, including agricultural and wholesale operations.
o Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt levels to ensure liquidity. Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Develop, manage, and monitor the company's annual budget.
o Provide financial forecasts to assist with strategic decision-making.
o Review and analyze financial results to provide recommendations for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation. Cost Control & Analysis:
o Analyze production costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses in the agriculture and wholesale sectors.
o Work closely with operational managers to control and reduce costs.
o Implement and monitor cost-accounting systems for agriculture production, storage, and distribution. Compliance & Audit:
o Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
o Coordinate external audits and implement audit recommendations.
o Manage tax filings, and stay up to date on agricultural and wholesale industry-specific tax policies. Financial Strategy & Advisory:
o Provide financial insights to the executive team to inform strategic decisions.
o Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and capital projects.
o Support expansion plans, including financing and capital structuring for new agricultural projects or wholesale ventures. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
o Manage working capital requirements, ensuring optimal inventory levels and credit control.
o Forecast cash flow requirements and develop strategies to improve cash conversion cycles.
o Negotiate credit facilities with suppliers, customers, and financial institutions. Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring a high level of competence and motivation.
o Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial and operational objectives.
o Develop and implement training programs for staff on financial controls, policies, and systems. Systems & Process Improvement:
o Optimize and automate financial reporting and accounting systems.
o Implement best practices for accounting and financial controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management, pricing, and sales reporting. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA must).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management or controllership, preferably in agriculture, wholesale, or a similar industry.
Key Strengthen requirements:
• Listing company compliance experience (ASX or NY or NASDAQ)
• Attention to detail, able to deliver quality work in restricted time and resources
• Valuable experience on developing the economic model for PE acquisition business or Government fund grant process.
• Accounting standards and disclosure knowledge and successfully designing and implementing ERP system migration before.
• Experience on cashflow management and projection, particularly running the Company's treasury function.
