The Australian Ballet and Orchestra Victoria have an annual turnover of more than $70 million and employ over 350 people.The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading and managing all finance, administration, information technology, facilities, and asset management functions for The Australian Ballet Group. The position is also accountable for the development of the finance and operations strategy to support the company's strategic plan, the metrics tied to that strategy, regular analysis to support ongoing management decision making and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.The position provides high-level strategic analysis and advice to the Executive Director and the Board on both micro and macro trends affecting the organisation and how these impact performance, opportunities and risk. The CFO is also responsible for providing effective leadership and management of all business operations and administrative functions including providing support to the Executive Director as it relates to those activities.
