We believe that everyone should be able to live life how they choose, with a trustworthy helping hand close by when needed.We are a for-profit company specialising in the Disability and Aged Care Sectors and are looking for a growth-minded CFO to join our team.This Exciting RoleWe need a financially savvy person who balances strategic thinking with operational support to lead a team of 6 people to support the overall organisational goals.Core objectives include:Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide financial advice and options to support our growth objectives.Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements for multiple legal entities and business units within accounting standards and legislation.Systems: Maintain, enhance and implement systems to support organisational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and detailed forecasting to ensure budgets are set, reported and reviewed to support the business make considered decisions.Payroll: Knowledge of payroll systems and associated award considerations (Employment Hero preferred).Assist with preparing and submitting statutory returns in a timely manner.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders and team to share your expertise in a meaningful way and provide guidance for financial decision making.About YouProven leadership experience in a financial management role, ideally within the government-funded sector.Strong knowledge of contemporary financial management principles, accounting standards, and relevant legislation (CPA, CA or similar qualification is mandatory).Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others. We're a friendly bunch, and we value teamwork.Experience in payroll systems would be preferred (Keypay / Employment Hero).Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Business Central and PowerBI would be highly valued.Strong analytical skills to see the numbers and tell a meaningful story about trends and insights.NDIS and/or Aged Care Sector experience (preferred but not required).We're looking for a hands-on team player for a long-term rewarding position.
