The team at ICMEC Australia is passionate, highly skilled, and united in their goal of creating a safer world for children.About the OpportunityICMEC Australia is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for steering the strategic direction, operational management, and financial sustainability of the organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape national and regional efforts against CSE by building strong alliances across sectors such as government, corporate partners, and international stakeholders. The CEO will work closely with the global ICMEC leadership to ensure alignment of programs and initiatives with broader organisational goals, while also serving as a visible and influential advocate for ICMEC Australia in the community.The role is based out of the offices in Sydney CBD, with hybrid working available.About YouThe ideal candidate will be a seasoned senior leader with a proven track record across a combination of not-for-profit, corporate, and government sectors, especially in areas connected to child protection or social impact. The successful candidate will have proven experience generating new revenue streams to ensure financial sustainability and prosperity.Exceptional skills in relationship-building, communication, and public speaking are required, along with the capacity to lead complex negotiations across a diverse range of stakeholders. As a contemporary leader, the CEO will be skilled in developing and empowering teams, fostering a culture of high performance, and ensuring the psychological and emotional well-being of the staff.
