Laguna Bay Group manages the evaluation, acquisition, development and management of agricultural assets, including joint venture Cutri Fruit, on behalf of institutional investors. Cutri Fruit is one of the largest fresh stone fruit farms in Australia and has recently expanded into avocados and citrus. There is full vertical integration of growing, packing, transporting and exporting.  The Position The CEO will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, strategic implementation, growth, profitability and commercial success of Cutri Fruit. Key responsibilities include: Develop and communicate a vision for Cutri Fruit that inspires other to action.  Partner with the Directors and management team to develop strategic plans. Set and monitor priorities and goals that drive excellence. Implement strategies to prioritise quality while managing costs. Streamline and optimise internal processes to enhance overall operational efficiency for orchards, factory and logistics. Analyse financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased profitability. Develop a culture of strong performance, team/individual accountability with a focus on succession and growth.  Actively create a strong safety performance accountability with leaders and a continuous improvement safety performance culture. Build and promote the business's presence, developing strong relationships with customer, industry, government, and community stakeholders. The Person Our ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications. Experience & Skills: 15 years experience in general management. Demonstrated commercial acumen including strategy development, financial reporting, budgeting, stakeholder management, and governance. Strong operational & production experience and insights, with a sound understanding of strategic and market challenges. Extensive team leadership experience with proven experience motivating outcomes and developing a cohesive team culture. Problem solving skills and decision making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Personal Attributes: Ability to positively influence organisational culture and drive values, vision and purpose throughout the business. Authentic leadership approach that inspires and empowers others. A personal commitment to the role agriculture can play in broader sustainability solution. Passionate & results orientated to continually drive high level performance. Demonstrate personal accountability for safety of self and others. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business / Agribusiness / Agriculture.
