With a mission to help individuals live their best lives by providing exceptional care and services tailored to their unique needs in the comfort of their own homes, ADSSI provides crucial support through various services across multiple locations.With the announcement of the long-standing Chief Executive Officer's (CEO) upcoming retirement, ADSSI invites applications for a new CEO to provide strategic leadership to the group.The Role:The CEO will spearhead the organisation, ensuring excellence in financial, governance, strategic planning, service delivery, and operational management. They will work closely with the Board of Directors, fulfilling governance obligations and driving strategic initiatives that align with ADSSI's mission, vision, and values.A key focus of this role will be hands-on involvement in financial management and analysis, including driving financial performance, optimising resources, and ensuring sustainable growth. Their leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation, resilience, compassion, and integrity within the organisation while maintaining a strong emphasis on fiscal responsibility and service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Oversee governance processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.Lead strategic planning and execution to enhance service delivery and financial sustainability.Advance organisational goals by engaging with all stakeholders, including government entities, other providers, community groups, and internal teams.Champion ADSSI's values, enhancing a workplace culture focused on safety, wellness, and client-centric service delivery.Manage senior leadership teams and facilitate professional development across the organisation.Requirements:Extensive experience in aged care (at least five years in a similar leadership role) and a comprehensive and practical understanding of current aged care reforms.Demonstrated understanding of financial management, encompassing the capacity to conduct thorough economic analysis, enhance resource utilisation, and foster sustainable growth.Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; advanced degrees preferred.Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, business development and innovation, and team leadership.Comprehensive understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape for aged care and disability services.Strong commitment to the principles of independence and community participation.Must be based in the broader Central Coast/Hunter Region.Valid Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and compliance with NSW Health immunisation requirements.Experience in disability support services.For the right candidate, ADSSI offers a competitive salary package reflective of the seniority of the role.
