Austrade is looking for its next CEO. The role requires a results-oriented leader with relevant commercial and government experience and a proven track record of successfully leading complex international enterprises.
As the CEO, you will work to increase Australian exports and investment, in alignment with the Australian Government strategic priorities; Trade and Investment Diversification, Net Zero, Economic Security, First Nations, Visitor Economy and Trade Modernisation.
You will oversee the provision of practical, evidence-based trade, tourism and other relevant policy advice to government, effective delivery of the Export Market Development Grants scheme, purchase/provider arrangements for Tradestart, and consular assistance at Austrade-managed overseas posts.
Success requires a leader who can cultivate strong networks and build enduring partnerships across the Government and private sectors globally. This includes representing Austrade externally with a range of stakeholders, particularly senior government officials and Ministers.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment security clearance check and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
