Burswood Park Board seeks a Chief Executive to lead the agency through a dynamic phase of growth, guiding strategic priorities and day-to-day operations.

Burswood Park Board is a statutory authority of the Government of Western Australia, responsible for managing the Burswood Park Reserve.
The park is a vibrant community space, nestled along the Swan River, offering recreational, entertainment, artistic, and sporting activities.

The Chief Executive will lead the development and execution of strategic priorities and the 20-Year Vision, ensuring smooth day-to-day park operations and facilities management.
Key responsibilities include:

Refining existing policies for risk management, compliance, and governance

Fostering relationships with stakeholders, including State Government agencies, local government, the community, and business partners

Promoting Burswood Park's investment potential and representing the park in media and with government officials and advisory bodies

Empowering the team, key partners, and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes for the Park and the wider community of Western Australia

The successful candidate will possess substantial experience leading the delivery of strategic programs and/or operations, advanced stakeholder management skills, and demonstrated corporate governance experience.

The Chief Executive will be responsible for managing risk, budgets, and people, and undertaking necessary reporting to ensure the smooth running and ongoing sustainability of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the WA public sector, and tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant and related discipline would be beneficial.
