Chief Engineer

Seeking a dynamic Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team at a large hotel in Brisbane CBD, responsible for maintaining guest comfort, energy management, and safety standards.

Job Description We are currently seeking a dynamic & proactive Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team.

Lead a team to plan and carry out preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel. Design and implement solutions to improve energy management and conservation. Manage contractors and ensure compliance with ESG regulations. Ensure the hotel upholds OH&S and fire safety responsibilities. Prepare and submit capex proposals and manage capex projects. Key qualifications include:

A trade qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in leading a team and managing a maintenance function. Exceptional communication and organisational skills. Benefits include:
