Position OverviewTasWater is seeking a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to join the senior leadership team. Reporting to the CFO, the CDO will drive the delivery of TasWater's Digital and Technology Strategic Roadmap, leveraging innovation and advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability outcomes. The CDO will manage TasWater's digital budget, embed innovation, and advance data governance and analytics capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver on TasWater's Digital and Technology Strategic Roadmap.Lead the development and delivery of strategic priorities, ensuring IT and Digital strategies are future-oriented, customer-centric, and aligned with the organisation's objectives.Provide strategic leadership to the Digital and Information Technology department (circa 65 staff).Partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and senior leaders to identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational excellence through technology.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will be highly regarded as a strategic leader with significant IT/Digital Technology experience within a large, complex, customer-focused organisation. You will be innovative in your thinking and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to inspire, influence, and enhance capability across your team. You are experienced in providing leadership as a change agent, leading the TasWater technology strategy, execution, and operations.
