About GESB GESB is a WA State Public Sector Agency that provides superannuation schemes for current and former public sector employees. With over 85 years' experience, around 247,000 members and over $40 billion in funds under management, we are the largest super provider based in WA.
This is an exciting time for GESB and we are looking for the right people to help build our team, contribute positively to our culture, and support our purpose of helping our members achieve a quality retirement.
Initiatives are currently being developed that will position the fund in a more competitive market, which has resulted in GESB adopting a different business model and approach to providing an attractive superannuation option to current and past members. As a result, we are looking for a Chief Corporate Services Officer to join our Executive Leadership team.

The roleThe Chief Corporate Services Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
The Corporate Services division is responsible for the delivery of corporate resources and business intelligence services in the areas of:
People and CultureRisk and ComplianceLegal and InvestigationsGovernance and Board SecretariatInformation Management and SecurityIT Services, Premises and FacilitiesWho we are looking forOur values are at the centre of everything we do, so if you're successful in this role, you'll put our members first. Senior level experience in the effective management of corporate services in the public sector or superannuation/financial services industries.Senior level experience effectively implementing and managing a strong corporate governance framework.Senior level experience developing and evolving organisational culture through effective people management.Senior leadership experience managing diverse teams in delivering strategic objectives.Experience managing relationships for significant outsourced services.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.Leadership is part of who we areAt GESB, we believe all our people are leaders and the core leadership behaviours outlined in the Public Sector Commissions' Leadership Expectations are applicable to this role.
