Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travelers. Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms. The hotel also features the amazing and extremely popular venues of Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Cafe, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as KG Bar and an Executive Lounge.

Job Description

Our Concierge team is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating the smooth guest arrival and departure experience, as well as providing friendly and knowledgeable service to all hotel visitors.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager with regular access to the Hotel Manager, the Chief Concierge will lead a team of passionate porters & valets to ensure all guests are provided with a personalised and memorable experience.
What the role is all about:
Overseeing the daily operations of the Concierge DepartmentLeading and developing a passionate guest-focused teamProviding exceptional customer service in all guest interactionsProviding recommendations and directions to hotel Guests and visitorsDriving and parking cars as required Qualifications

We're looking for someone to bring their personality, passion and energy to our hotel. The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
An obsession with providing excellent guest serviceAn in-depth and current knowledge of Brisbane CBD and surrounding areasExperience in recruiting, training & leading a passionate teamExceptional communication skillsAttention to detailHigh standard of personal presentationExperience in a similar positionThe flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidaysYou must meet the legal requirements to work in AustraliaHold a valid QLD driver's licence.
