The opportunity An opportunity for a Chief Compliance Officer to lead our AUSPAC Compliance Function!

Your new role A unique opportunity has presented for an experienced risk and compliance professional to join QBE Insurance in the role of Chief Compliance Officer, Auspac .

Reporting directly to QBE's Auspac Chief Risk Officer, with a matrix reporting line to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, the Auspac Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for leading QBE's Auspac Compliance function and supporting the implementation of the Compliance Framework in Auspac.

In this critical position you will: Provide expert advice to senior management on compliance risk across Australia Pacific Provide strong advocacy and build productive relationships with regulators, including leading day to day engagement activities with a range of non-prudential regulators including, most notably, ASIC Develop, own and monitor relevant Policies and Procedures in Auspac relating to compliance risks Drive and support the business in conduct risk management activities, including the establishment and support of an Auspac Conduct Risk Committee Engage, inform and influence Executive and Board stakeholders to enable QBE to meet regulatory requirements and expectations Lead environmental scanning of regulatory change within the business and support the implementation of key regulatory change programs Advise, recommend and co-ordinate resources where necessary to support Compliance by Design in QBE's modernization and transformation program of work Bring clarity to the understanding of key compliance risks and obligations in the business Lead a team of dedicated compliance professionals Be a key leadership member of the Auspac Risk Leadership Team Be a key member of the Group Compliance Leadership Team About you This is an opportunity for an experienced Compliance and Conduct professional, with relevant experience and regulatory knowledge.
You will possess domain expertise in compliance and conduct and/or risk, a strategic mindset and be able to effectively communicate across the business.
