Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our technical design, engineering, and innovation efforts for our Customer Cortex, Democratisation, and Advanced Analytics & AI Services.
As a key member of our Data Engineering Chapter, you will be responsible for defining and improving the craft of engineering, supporting the growth and maturity of engineers, and ensuring the quality of technical design, engineering, resilience, and performance of our technical solutions.
Key accountabilities include: Leading technical staff and engineers in Customer Cortex and Advanced Analytics servicesEnsuring use cases and consumption of services meet OLAs and can scale to meet user and business requirementsEnsuring engineering teams meet all Data Platforms, Technology, and Data Engineering Chapter metrics and KPIsCompliance of technical solutions to Westpac policy and standardsEnsuring technical solutions are robust and resilientWhat we are looking for: Technology solution designCloud-based Data, API, real-time, ML/AI engineeringEngineering fundamentals of Dev Sec Ops, CICD, test-driven developmentSAFe experienceEngineer team leadership including coaching / mentoringLang Chain, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector, and Graph databases experienceAt Westpac, we are committed to providing a supportive culture and creating diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplaces, branches, products, and services for our customers, employees, and community.
