We are currently seeking skilled Chefs to join our dynamic team in full-time positions. These roles offer competitive salaries ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 AUD per annum, plus superannuation. For the ideal candidate, the final package is negotiable.
About the Role As a key part of our kitchen team, you will:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a bustling kitchen, including staff delegation, stock rotation, and maintaining paperwork.Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for regular service, special events, and functions.Plan production schedules and staffing to ensure timely service delivery.Estimate food and supply requirements, managing costs efficiently.Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to maintain compliance with quality standards.Monitor and enforce sanitation practices and food safety regulations.Develop and refine recipes, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.Assign menu prices based on food, labor, and overhead costs.Train staff in new cooking techniques and proper equipment use.Maintain and organize workstations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for each shift.Assist team members when needed to foster a collaborative work environment.About You To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
