Work a 2 week on 1 week off roster, earning a salary of $95,253.Enjoy free on-site gym access, swimming pools & recreational facilities.DIDO from Central QLD only, no FIFO available.The PositionPrepare buffet / bulk style cooking for breakfast and crib lunch, or dinner and desserts.Work within a team of chefs, kitchen utilities & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residents.Adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures.Ensure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to a minimum.Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all residents.Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.The PersonYou will be a qualified chef with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.Bulk catering or buffet experience is essential.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Attention to detail and great time management is a must.Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations.Excellent knowledge of food safety and ability to manage compliance.The BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
