Key Responsibilities:Menu Planning: Develop and design menus that offer a variety of dishes, ensuring a balance of flavors, creativity, and presentation.Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes, ensuring each meal meets the highest standards of quality and taste.Workforce Supervision: Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective execution of culinary tasks.Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, strictly adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on all prepared dishes, addressing any issues to maintain high standards.Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring ingredients are fresh and stored correctly.Technical Documentation: Prepare reports on menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations with clear recommendations for improvements.Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and consistently, enhancing the overall dining experience and meeting client specifications.
General qualificationsExperience: Proven experience as a chef, particularly in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes.
Prior work in a similar role within the culinary industry is highly valued.Culinary Knowledge: Strong understanding of cooking techniques, menu planning, and food presentation.
