We are looking for an all-rounder who is customer-focused, adaptable to our diverse range of clientele and committed to driving sales.
Ability to lead our café team through large dinner services and functions, to engage our regular customers and work across other areas (barista and bar work) is desirable.
Key Accountabilities Maintains a clean sanitised operation + food safety programCoordinates the ordering, holding, preparation and storage of food stock in dry, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen spacesPrepares food to standard recipe and portion controls that meet the company standardsEnsures wastage of all product and utilities is always minimisedCoordinates the use and maintenance of all equipment to regulatory standardsEnsures all stock levels are appropriately maintained to meet the level of forecasted operationsCreates specialty dishes from time to time, by utilising slow moving stocks or excess itemsAssists Management with groups, larger bookings, and communicates with 3rd party contractor caterers to use facilities when the operations are unable to deliver such an eventAttends internal meetings and client site visits where necessaryEssential Skills and Qualifications: Energetic and passionate about our goalsA minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar hospitality facilityCompleted traineeship as qualified cookHighly developed communication skills both up and down the lineExperience in large group catering up to 120paxSound knowledge of kitchen health and safety legislationNational Police CheckCurrent CPR CertificateCurrent First Aid Certificate (Level 2)Desirable: Worked in an environment of being in charge and responsible for outcomesWorked in fast paced environmentAbility to apply oneself during slower periods and contribute across other departments within the facility (for efficiency)About the Site The Precinct is located in Loxton on the River Murray in the Riverland region of South Australia, and managed by Belgravia Leisure.
A major redevelopment of the Centre has been undertaken and created a wonderful Regional Facility.
It includes 2 indoor multi-purpose courts, 4 outdoor multi-purpose courts, a 200 seat function space with bar facilities and commercial kitchen, a canteen and multiple meeting and multi-purpose spaces.
