As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook's trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.
About the role Reporting to the Residential Manager, your role is to lead and manage staff and resources efficiently to ensure that the facility delivers the highest quality and safety in food services. Some of these responsibilities include stock control, preparing menus, food preparation, reheating, and high-quality presentation of all meals to residents. In addition, your management of the facility Café ensures our residents and their families enjoy their time together over great coffee and other beverages with a variety of café food to delight the senses!
About you Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Commercial Cookery or equivalent Applied knowledge of HACCP food safety principles Sound competence and experience in the management of high-quality food services, e.g. fine dining restaurant or similar Sound experience in kitchen management, effective staff leadership, staff development, financial control, and customer service.
