Description: The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Part time Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Wyoming.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday - Friday (9am - 5.30pm).
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management.
Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs.
Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices.
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership.
Assisting the broader team as required.
Skills and Experiences: The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Bulk cooking required for 25 - 40 residents daily.
Strong with budgeting and rostering.
Aged Care experience preferred but not essential.
Menu development.
Strong with compliance to adhere to Aged Care Quality Standards and Food Safety regulations.
Must be a team player.
Time management skills.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Strong communication skills.
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene.
