Chef MULLER BROS Restaurant | Café | Bar Location: 25 Bell Street, Toowoomba QLD 4350 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation About Us We, Muller Bros are seeking an enthusiastic Chef with excellent attention to detail to join their kitchen team on a full-time basis.
Working behind the scenes, your contribution to the team is vital to the successful operation of the kitchen.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include: · Developing menus, calculating food and labour expenses, and procuring food supplies · Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and presentation process · Addressing food preparation concerns with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and service staff · Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance on procedures · Preparing and cooking meals · Explaining and enforcing hygiene standards · May recruit and train staff · May involve freezing and preserving food items · Excellent food preparation, presentation and service to our patrons and other customers · Cooking a variety of different meals on the grill and fryers · Stock management duties including stock takes and recording wastage · Accepting food deliveries, checking stock and ensure the safe storage of products · Complete daily cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace · Exceptional customer care and service skills and good practice and compliance with food health and safety through safe storage.
Qualifications: · A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and relevant Diploma in Hospitality.
· At least two years' work experience in a similar role is required.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and manage a team in a fast-paced environment is an advantage.
