THE POSITION Assisting and overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials. Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating. Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to. Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control. Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without compromise to the food safety guidelines provided. THE PERSON Chef's Trade Qualifications. An understanding of Café style food. Ability to work within budgets. A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends. Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff. An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
