Chef De Partie

The Commercial Hotel Merredin is on the lookout for an experienced Chef De Partie to be a part of kitchen in an excellent venue. 
The job duties will include:
Participate in food preparation for service, in accordance with accepted standards of quality.Ensure the overall cleanliness and the health and safety aspects of the kitchen are maintained at all times.Responsible for proper storage, labelling and use of all food supplies to prevent unnecessary wastage and to maintain cost control.Optimize food quality and customer satisfaction.Training and development of new and existing kitchen employees.Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently.Assist the Head Chef with Menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, ordering of kitchen supplies.Running the service and supervising all aspects of itSkills required:
Proficiency in all sections of the kitchen Sound knowledge of different cooking methods2 years of full time work experience required Academic qualifications, Cert 3 and Cert 4 in Commercial CookeryStrong chopping skillsNote: This is a permanent full time position.
