We host a wide variety of events - corporate lunches, dinners or cocktail parties, media launches, private milestone celebrations and weddings.
We also operate a chef's tasting dining room, open to the public throughout the week.

About the Role We are seeking a motivated, passionate and experienced  Chef de Partie to join our team at Eureka 89.
This is a  full-time  position with an immediate start due to business growth.
In this hands-on role, you will prepare and cook all dishes for our six and eight-course Chef's Tasting menu and event canapés.
You will also maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene and develop expertise in your assigned specialty.
Your duties will include: Culinary Expertise and Presentation : Develop expertise in assigned menu specialty, efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while contributing to recipe development and menu planning.
Food Safety and Stock Management : Ensure food is stored correctly with good stock rotation, maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, and monitor stock levels to assist with ordering supplies and minimise waste.
Training and Team Collaboration : Manage and train Junior/Commis Chefs, sharing knowledge to enhance team performance and collaborate with Executive and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
Adaptability and Time Management : Manage time effectively, work quickly under pressure, and remain open to taking on new tasks or adapting to different roles to support overall kitchen functionality.
This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude.
You may be required to work any of the seven days of the calendar week, including weekends and gazetted public holidays.
A standard working day can consist of up to 12 working hours, within the hours of 07:00hrs and 00:00hrs.

Requirements Qualifications Certificate in Commercial Cookery (preferred) Provide First Aid & CPR (preferred) Food Handling Safety Certificate (essential, or willing to obtain upon commencement) Knowledge of industry best practices About You 1+ years' experience in a similar role Demonstrated experience producing high-quality food unsupervised, with knowledge of all sections Can ensure a kitchen meets all compliance and regulations, including hygiene and food safety guidelines Appropriate knowledge of ingredients, cooking methods and best practices Ability to show initiative to take on more responsibility Ability to control food production to maximise quality and efficiency Monitor and train junior kitchen team, while supporting the Kitchen Management Good leadership skills, with a positive "can-do" attitude Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, with high fluency in English Entitlement to work in Australia A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
