We are currently seeking a Demand Planner to be based in either VIC or NSW, to actively analyse statistical sales data trends & future investment planning within Motion, ensuring engagement across all key stakeholders delivers an accurate inventory forecast plan.
Your responsibilities include: Prepare and run monthly Assumptions Validation Meeting (AVM) with relevant product manager. Present demand plans and assumptions during Demand Review meetings, highlighting risks, opportunities, and scenarios to optimize decision-making. Extraction and reporting of forecast trends on the first week of each month from the Forecast Review Report / MICQ. Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure supply plans align with demand forecasts, balancing customer service levels with inventory costs. Reviewing and assessing historical and future trends across designated Categories at BU1/2/3/4 level and Brand, suppliers. Understand and identify possible implications and proposing adjustments based on current trends to be agreed upon at the monthly Demand Review meeting. Manage transitions and continuously seek ways to minimize inventory write offs. Work closely with supply planning team to actively review, analyse inventory levels and maintain stock cover whilst minimizing overall supply chain cost. Generation, analysis, and distribution of ad-hoc reports as required. All about you: You will consider yourself to be a proactive and driven individual with:
Previous experience in Demand Planning roles within complex organisations. Experience in an S&OP / IBP environment highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of inventory management and forecasting methods, systems and processes. Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong networking skills with the ability to build trusted professional relationships and a collaborative mindset. Strong drive to meet business deadlines and display resilience in managing multiple business processes. Proactive problem-solving ability and effective decision making.
