Job Advertisement – Cook/ Chef LimKee Chinese Restaurant is looking for a qualified, talented and passionate Chef/ Cook to join our team in Carseldine, Queensland.

We serve authentic Chinese cuisine and pride ourselves on providing efficient service and an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities Within your role, you will be responsible for: Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combing, and cooking ingredients; and maintain a sanitary kitchen.
Executes cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications.
Places and expedites orders.
Adheres to proper food handling, sanitisation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labelling, rotation of all food items.
Coordinates daily food supply inventory.
Submits order to Manager and Head Chef.
Assists with receipt of deliveries.
Ensures smooth operations of kitchen services during absence of Manager and Head Chef.
Assisting in managing restaurant day-to-day operations.
Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed.
Participates in and/ or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improved quality of service and employee productivity.
Skills and Experience Required Certificate IV or higher in a related field (e.g.
Kitchen Management, Hospitality Management).
At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Cook in a restaurant setting Salary The ideal candidate will be awarded a salary between $73,150 and $74,000 plus superannuation.
