Chef - Contemporary Mexican Restaurant in JindabyneGreat opportunity for an experienced Chef to work with a fantastic new kitchen team in Jindabyne; wood fired or solid fuel cooking experience is preferred.Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.Key Responsibilities:Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitudeAbility to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout serviceTake pride in food presentation, always ensuring top qualityOverseeing all kitchen operations.Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.Train junior kitchen staffQualifications Required: Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
