Key Responsibilities:Plan and direct food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a busy fast-paced setting.Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.Work with kitchen staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.Plan menus with the Director, considering customer preferences.Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities, ensuring high food quality and presentation.Perform food preparation tasks and check order quality.Plan work to ensure items are finished at the same time.Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.Stock and maintain food products at line stations.Advise on cooking methods and practices.Assist the Director in routine and specific tasks.Enforce sanitary practices and comply with health and safety regulations.Requirements:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).3 years of work experience in a similar restaurant environment.Ability to handle busy service and maintain food quality.Hardworking, positive attitude, and ability to work within a team and independently.Benefits:$70,000 - $75,000 per year salary.Full-time position.Australian citizens and permanent residents encouraged to apply.
